Cancer Patient Assistance

Texoma Health Foundation is dedicated to supporting people and families fighting cancer. We have 2 programs available to members of our community that are dedicated to improving lives and encouraging success.

Room for Hope

Located within Reba's Ranch House, the Room for Hope is available to patients who are battling cancer and their families to find items like prosthetics, bras, hats, scarves, and shawls along with emotional support, educational material and a connection to area resources at no cost.

All items are donated to the Room for Hope by individuals, businesses, foundations, and friends.

The Room For Hope started as a community service project by Girl Scout, Maria Hayes during her senior year at Denison High School.  Maria started the Room for Hope as a place where women battling cancer could find support items and information within their immediate community.

Since its inception in 2012, the Room for Hope has expanded to support area women and men facing any cancer.

A special thank you to Bella Fontana Spa, Yarning to Serve, Texas Oncology and community supporters for your generous donations making the room possible. And thank you to Reba McEntire who is actively involved in helping raise funds in support of the Room for Hope.
