Community Grants

Texoma Health Foundation partners with area nonprofits who help us reach our mission smarter and faster than we could working alone. By providing non-profits resources to expand their work, Texoma Health Foundation makes a difference in the lives of people across our 4 county region. To apply you must serve communities within Grayson, Fannin, Bryan and/or Marshall County and propose a project that will have a measurable and positive impact on the community. Please review the grant process and contact us if you have any questions.

Commonly asked Questions

Am I eligible to apply?

We are looking for projects that align with our mission to support the health and well-being of our community.

Currently we are funding projects that address 1 or both of the following priorities:

  • Access to mental health, healthcare, or healthy living.
  • Measurably increasing or retaining the number of nurses in our 4 counties.

Please note we take particular interest in programs that would meet both priorities.

We are proud to serve any non-profit entity, including 501c3s, churches, schools, and other agents in our community!

Your organization must serve residents within our 4-county area, Marshall, Bryan, Grayson, or Fannin.

When are applications due?

Applications are due at the end of September.

How much is the average award that THF grants?

$46,300

Why is THF streamlining this year’s application?

THF recognizes that in addition to adjusting to increasing demands as a result of COVID-19 and preparing sites for safe care, nonprofits are also responding to new and sometimes complicated funding streams. We want area nonprofits to take full advantage of and have adequate time to complete applications for funding. Streamlining our application process will allow THF to still obtain critical information for decision-making while relieving some of the time-burden on nonprofits.

What is the Fannin County Hospital Authority (FCHA)

The purpose of the Fannin County Hospital Authority Fund is to support the health and well-being of the residents of Fannin County with a priority given to programs and projects that focus on mental health and wellness, as well as access to care. Additionally, organizations that are physically providing services within Fannin County will have priority. Giving from the Fannin County Hospital Authority Fund is overseen by the Fannin County Hospital Authority with the Texoma Health Foundation (THF) serving as the Fund’s fiduciary agent.
